Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MaxiPawn (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

Subscription & billing

• MaxiPawn is sold as a monthly subscription at $99 per shop per month, billed in advance via Stripe.
• New subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; you are not charged until day 31. Cancel anytime during the trial and you'll never be charged.
• After the trial, your subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period.
• We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

Your data

You own the operational data you create inside MaxiPawn (tickets, customers, payments, photos, etc.). We host and process it on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture, including subprocessors and retention.

Acceptable use

MaxiPawn is for licensed pawnbroker operations. You agree not to use the Service for activity that violates U.S. federal or state pawn laws (including OFAC sanctions, AAMVA-issued ID handling rules, or your state's pawnbroker licensing regime). You're responsible for complying with the laws of every jurisdiction in which you operate.

Service availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel), and acts of God can cause downtime. We will not be liable for losses arising from such interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaxiPawn's total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You may cancel anytime from the in-app billing portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or fail to pay. On termination we retain your data for 90 days per the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally; if changes are material, we'll email you in advance. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
